About us

We help drivers in the United States shop for auto insurance online.

Shopping for car insurance often means typing the same answers into one company's form after another. The Lion Coverage Provider shortens that: you answer once (about your car, its drivers and the protection you have in mind) and we send those answers on to carriers and agencies holding a license in your state. Anything they offer is their own quote, and what happens next is entirely your decision.

Where our role stops

The Lion Coverage Provider sells no insurance and acts as neither insurer, agent nor broker. Writing policies, deciding premiums, producing policy documents and paying claims all sit outside what we do. The licensed company quoting you stands behind its price and makes every coverage decision, and any policy you buy binds you and that company, not us.

How the site is funded

You pay nothing to use this site. Instead, insurance partners pay us a fee for each introduction to someone who may become a customer. Those fees may shape which partners we put you in touch with and how they are ordered. They never raise or lower the premium a partner quotes, and a more expensive policy earns us no extra money.

Our matches do not cover the whole market. Some insurers stay out of comparison sites altogether, so their prices will never show up through us.

Why your state matters

Each state sets its own minimum coverage, its own approach to injury claims and its own limits on what insurers may weigh when pricing. Two drivers whose records barely differ may see widely separated quotes purely because of the state they live in.

Advice

This site does not give advice on insurance, legal or money matters, and it can't tell you which policy is the right fit for you. For that, ask an insurance professional licensed in your home state.
